Do you manually enter the information into the system?
Most of the information in NewsCenter is automatically enter into the system
via a leased-Line or Internet. Just only some information received in hard copy
format, we will then manually enter into our system.

cover the whole of each publication, or not?
Yes, every single news and articles we received from each information provider
would be updated and maintained into the system.

How long does NewsCenter maintain the information?
NewsCenter maintains the information since the first date information
received from each information provider (over five years in general).
NewsCenter keeps maintaining all the information in the database and the oldest
information you can search back is since 1970.

As you said that NewsCenter can do full text search, what does it means?
In contrast to other search systems, NewsCenter does not require
pre-defined keywords. You can simply define your exact search criteria in Thai,
English or a combination of both, using any words or phrases.

To fine tune my search criteria, what should I do?
You can enter more than one keyword or phrase by including such
connectors as "and" "or" and "and not" in your search criteria. Additionally,
information sources, language and date range has also been specified for
receiving more relevant search results.

Can I export data from NewsCenter for my personal use?
Yes, quite easily. Just click on story tools you wish to operate. Then, you
will get your own document.
